About Me

CIPD Qualified (post graduate diploma), with 35+ years experience working in HR Generalist/Business Partnering roles, including 10 years as HR Manager/Head of HR for a small/medium sized start up business. 

I have a pragmatic approach in dealing with people issues, there are not many situations that I have not dealt with during my career in HR.  I will work with you to find the right solution for your business.

Having lived in the Dacorum all my life, I have a particular passion for working with local businesses and charities, however with the help of modern technology (Teams!), I also work remotely, supporting businesses anywhere in the UK and can travel where required.

I have expertise in many areas of HR, including Recruitment, Employee Wellbeing (Level 4 qualified Mental Health First Aider), Employee Relations, Collective Agreements, Disciplinaries, Grievances, Absence Management & CapabilityTUPE, Performance Management, Succession Planning, HR Systems/payroll Implementation Projects, Business Restructures & Redundancy.  

I am also a Partner HR Consultant for Breathe HR, which is a cloud based HR system, specifically designed for small companies.

Ad-hoc Support

Hourly or Daily Rate

£80-90 per hour or £500-600 per day*

Pay as you go!  No monthly contract, with general support as and when needed on a wide range of HR needs

Retainer Package

Price dependent on level of support required

A standard fixed price per month, 3 month minimum contract, fixed amount of support provided each month and with an optional HR software package (discounted for charities)

Contracts, Handbooks &  Policies

Prices Range from £70 for HR Policies up to £350 for an Employee Handbook

A range of documents available, tailored to your business; Contract of Employment, Health & Safety Policy, Disciplinary Policy, Grievance Policy, Employee Handbook, TUPE & Recruitment Packs

BreatheHR

From just £11 per month

BreatheHR is a great HR tool for small businesses.  It has self service capability, allowing employees to log in and update their personal details as well as book leave.  As a Certified HR Partner, I am able to offer you a FREE 30 day trial
